2003-04-09 Ewa Ciepielewska
Co-creator of the LUXUS Group and co-author of the Kraków
magazine „Friday Evenig”. Studied at the National College of
Fine Arts in Wrocław and got her degree in 1984 under the
supervision of Profesor Konrad Jarodzki. Since 1997 she has
been participating in the VOLANS project – contemporary
art in 1000 arts. She took part in collective exhibitions in Poland
and abroad (inter alia LUXUS FRA POLEN, Strykejernet,
Oslo, 1988; (r)evolution, the Olympia Gallery, Kraków, 2009).
Selected individual exhibitions: We all are “Ukrainian Jews”,
PGR-art, Gdańsk Shipyard, 2006; Ars longa vita brevis, Ev.
Gemeindehaus, Kassel, 2007. She organised plein air workshops
(Russion Dutch, Chmiel, Bieszczady, 1995). Author of
murals (for example Three Lines and A Violet Triangle Miraculum,
8000x2800cm, Kraków, 1996). She lives in Kraków.

(1959)Kenar Senior High School graduate, Nowosielski’s student. For years Bęc has been painting big format works experimenting with violet. His painting can be called the painting
of gesture. The artist finds inspiration in the works of American Abstract Expressionists of the forties. Violet adds to his works spiritual dimension.

| 2009-11-04 Kamil Stańczak
In 2004 he graduated from the Art Department at the Maria
Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Currently he works
there as an assistant in the Institute of Painting and Drawing.
His preoccupation is painting and installation. In a very
ironic way he tests the possibilities of experimenting with
painting in the post painting and post clichés era. Individual
exhibitions: Next one, please, Biała Galery, Lublin, 2007;
Puławy, the city – Kraków, the city centre, Olympia Gallery
2008. Selected collective exhibitions: Nova Biała, the Biała

| 2000-01-01 Piotr Wachowski
Studied at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine
Arts in Warsaw. He got his degree working under the supervision
of Professor Wiesław Szamborski and an additional
diploma in the Workshop of Art in Public Space under the supervision of Professor
Mirosław Duchowski, where he currently works as an
assistant. He is preoccupied with easel and wall painting.
Co-author of the fresco painted on the inlet passageway
of the Warsaw underground. In 2001 he was granted the
scholarship by the Mazowsze Centre of Culture and in 2003
nominated for the Passports of Polityka Magazine. In 2003
he was awarded the EXIT Prize. He lives in Tomaszów Mazowiecki

Born 1978. Atheist, deeply believing in Malevich (since 2006 he has created a cycle “0,11” refering to works from the last Petrograd exhibition of Russian futurism from 1915). Neurotic, self-appointed healer and psychoanalyst, (photographs “Diagnosis F20.0”, objects “Beuyspsychotherapie”, installation “Positioning”). Socialist living beyond his means, extreme feminist disliking women (for nearly a year, day by day, he has been sewing an embroidery of almost 12 square metres). Peasant-worker origin makes him a life-long student (philosophy at the Jagiellonian University; photography at the Polish Film School in Łódź; drawing media, intermedia, graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków). Collector of trash and prizes generously awarded by respectable bodies of Polish art-world; among others: Jan Matejko’s Artistic Scholarship (2009) and the Gold Medal of Polish Section of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (2007). more
