04.06 – 22.07.2010 Adama Rzepecki’s settlements with history 2010-05-24 For over thirty years Adam Rzepecki has been connected with an art group Łódź Kaliska of which he was a co-founder and with which he created the phenomenon called the “Whip-Round Culture” in the early eighties of the 20th century. He is a multimedia artist, and his favourite forms of expression are film, video, photography and performance. Form time to time he creates multimedia installations, however, they are not attractive enough to be mentioned. What makes him different from the other members of the group is not only the fact that he is the only artist from Kraków, but he is also very handsome ( which has always caused his colleagues’ jealousy).
