Wojciech Ćwiertniewicz »

Best Western Premier Hotel/Krakow, ulica Opolska 14 A/17 April 2015 – 17 May 2015

The exhibition is made up of five paintings, four large-format ones measuring 200 x 150 cm, showing abstract circles or "dots" dating back to 2001 and to break away from the highly contemplative atmosphere created by these four, one square-shaped painting with a side of 130 cm depicting a "psychedelic landscape" painted by the artist in 1988 meaning in the period which is in demand at present.

And here is an excerpt from "Memoirs of a Painter" by Wojciech Ćwiertniewicz (published by Fort Sztuki, Krakow 2005) dated 17 April 2004: "I don't count the painted dots, but they are numbered. Hopefully or hopelessly, in the morning I added some new ones - boldly embracing more space i n - b e t w e e n."
